I'm Abraham Valle, but most people call me Abe. I'm a Software Engineer and IT Professional based in Chicago, Illinois. I've spent over a decade building software, managing IT infrastructure, and creating digital tools that solve real problems.
I work best on things I draw passion from. Many of those things are listed on this site or linked in some way. I am a relentless dreamer and doer — I love to think things up and do what's needed to make them happen.
My work spans full-stack web development with Next.js and React, enterprise IT infrastructure, DevOps automation, and network administration. I've built everything from GIF processing tools to community mesh network platforms to speech-to-text applications.

Building complete web applications from frontend to backend using Next.js, React, Node.js, and modern tooling. I ship production-ready code that's maintainable and scalable.
IT Infrastructure & Operations
Over a decade managing enterprise IT environments — from network packets to user workflows. Linux, Windows Server, cloud infrastructure, and security.
DevOps & Automation
Building CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments with Docker, and automating everything that can be automated. If it can be scripted, I'll script it.
Network Administration
Cisco IOS, pfSense, mesh networking, SNMP monitoring, and network troubleshooting. I understand how systems communicate at every layer.
